These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Affilyn. By installing, accessing or using Affilyn, you agree to these Terms and the Affilyn Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Affilyn for a merchant, company or other organization, “you” includes that organization, and you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

• You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement or act through an authorized representative.
• You must have authority to operate the relevant Shopify store or partner account.
• You must comply with applicable Shopify terms, platform policies and laws.
• Information supplied to Affilyn must be accurate, current and not misleading.

Affilyn provides tools for affiliate and partner management, invitations and applications, affiliate-link creation, referral and commission tracking, eligible Shopify product synchronization, partner storefronts, analytics, payout workflows, contracts, social profile information and subscription-based capabilities.

Features, capacity, integrations, support and data history may vary by plan, account eligibility, merchant configuration and third-party platform availability. Beta, test or mock-mode functions will be identified where applicable and must not be treated as live payment or production services.

Affilyn is an independent third-party application. Shopify does not own, operate or control Affilyn and is not responsible for Affilyn’s service, support, content or merchant-partner arrangements.

Shopify and its marks belong to Shopify. Use of a Shopify account, store and platform remains governed by Shopify's own agreements and policies. Availability in Shopify or the Shopify App Store does not imply an endorsement beyond Shopify's applicable review and listing process.

You are responsible for:

• Protecting Shopify administrator access, partner links, sessions and email-based sign-in links.
• Limiting access to authorized personnel and partners and promptly removing access that is no longer needed.
• Not sharing credentials, tokens or accounts in an unauthorized manner.
• Promptly notifying [email protected] of suspected unauthorized access.

Merchants control their partner programs and are responsible for invitations, approvals, program rules, commission terms, payout arrangements, product eligibility, marketing claims, partner oversight and applicable tax reporting.

Merchants and partners are each responsible for the accuracy and legality of storefront, social, promotional and product-related content they submit or publish. They must comply with consumer protection, email, privacy, advertising, intellectual-property, sanctions, tax and sector-specific rules that apply to their activities.

Affilyn provides workflow and tracking tools; it is not the employer, agent, tax adviser or legal representative of a merchant or partner and does not determine their independent commercial relationship.

You must not use Affilyn to:

• Commit fraud, impersonate another person, misattribute traffic or manipulate clicks, orders, commissions or payouts.
• Make false product claims, send spam, conceal sponsored relationships or engage in deceptive marketing.
• Promote illegal products or activities or upload infringing, harmful or unlawful content.
• Track people without required notice, consent or other legal basis.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, probe, disrupt or circumvent the service, its security, subscription controls or usage limits.
• Abuse Shopify or third-party APIs, introduce malicious code or interfere with another user's access.

Merchants and partners must clearly make every disclosure required for affiliate relationships, commissions, endorsements, gifts, sponsored content and paid promotion. Affilyn does not replace disclosure duties imposed by advertising regulators, consumer-protection laws, Shopify, social platforms or merchant program rules.

Affilyn offers limited access without an active paid subscription and paid recurring plans. An eligible merchant's first approved paid subscription may include the three-day trial displayed before approval. Trial eligibility depends on account and subscription history and is not reset by repeatedly cancelling or changing plans.

App-subscription charges are presented for merchant approval and billed through Shopify's permitted billing system. Paid plans renew automatically for the billing cycle shown by Shopify until cancelled. Shopify presents the charge and applicable trial before approval.

An upgrade can require approval of a replacement subscription. Downgrades or cancellation can take effect according to the subscription change shown in Shopify. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not itself delete program records. Uninstalling the app can cancel the Shopify app subscription under Shopify's billing rules.

Refunds are not automatic merely because a user did not use a subscription or cancelled during a billing period. Contact [email protected] about a disputed charge. Any refund is subject to applicable law, Shopify's billing process and the facts of the request.

Plan-based limits may apply to total, Standard and VIP partners; published storefronts; synchronized products; storage; analytics history; automation; integrations; support; campaigns; contracts; gifting; fraud controls and other premium capabilities.

Under the current limited-access rule, a merchant without an active paid subscription may maintain one active partner. That partner can create affiliate links for unlimited eligible synchronized products; other product synchronization, VIP, storefront, analytics or premium capabilities can remain restricted. Current in-app limits and the Shopify approval screen control if they differ from older marketing materials.

Attempts to bypass or manipulate a plan limit violate these Terms. Downgrades do not transfer ownership of existing records, but access, creation or publication can be restricted until usage returns within the applicable limit.

Affilyn depends on Shopify and may interoperate with services such as YouTube, Meta/Instagram, TikTok, email providers, cloud infrastructure, Stripe, PayPal, Klaviyo or Omnisend when configured. Those services have separate terms and privacy practices.

Integration availability can depend on authorization, API scopes, developer approval, account type, regional availability, quotas, outages and policy changes. A saved handle does not mean that a social integration is authorized or operational. Affilyn is not responsible for a third party's independent service, although we will use reasonable efforts to report actionable integration failures.

Affilyn's software, interface, documentation, design and branding are owned by Affilyn or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, users receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for their authorized business activities.

Merchants and partners retain ownership of content they submit. They grant Affilyn a limited license to host, reproduce, process, adapt and display that content only as necessary to operate, secure and improve the service and fulfill their instructions. Users confirm they have the rights needed to grant that license.

Feedback may be used to improve Affilyn without an obligation to implement it or compensate the submitter, provided we do not publicly identify the submitter without permission.

Merchants and partners are responsible for hero images, biographies, videos, social content, product selections and descriptions, discount claims and other storefront material they upload, choose or publish. They must ensure the content is accurate, licensed, lawful, accessible where required and consistent with merchant, Shopify and third-party platform rules.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary for non-payment, fraud, abuse, material policy violations, security risk, legal obligations, third-party platform restrictions or protection of users and the service. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

On cancellation or uninstall, paid capabilities may end and active shop relationships and sessions may be disconnected. Some records can remain for privacy requests, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal obligations. Data deletion and anonymization are described in the Privacy Policy.

We may maintain, update, add, remove or modify features to improve the service, address security or comply with platform requirements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We will use reasonable care to minimize avoidable disruption and communicate material changes where appropriate.

To the extent permitted by law, Affilyn is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise any level of affiliate revenue, partner performance, sales, conversion, social audience accuracy, third-party API uptime or continuous storefront availability.

Attribution, fraud and analytics outputs are operational tools and can be affected by browser restrictions, customer behavior, incomplete data, refunds and third-party systems. Users should review material payout and program decisions rather than relying solely on automated output.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither Affilyn nor its suppliers will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data, arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer right. No arbitrary monetary liability cap is stated here; an appropriate cap and any jurisdiction-specific exceptions require approval by qualified legal counsel.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Affilyn against third-party claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful content, affiliate campaigns, product or advertising claims, infringement, violation of law or material misuse of the service. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Affilyn's own unlawful conduct, negligence or breach.

A governing law and dispute venue have not yet been approved for publication. They must be confirmed by qualified legal counsel before these Terms are used as the final production agreement. Nothing in this interim section limits mandatory rights available under applicable law.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact [email protected] so the parties can attempt to resolve the issue in good faith.

We may update these Terms as the service, billing model or legal requirements change. We will revise the “Last updated” date and may provide reasonable notice of material changes through the website, application or email. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
